Loi Vu, MD has been a practicing physician for over thirty years. He completed his Medical School in Saigon, Vietnam where he graduated in the top of his class. In Vietnam, he practiced as a family physician for 14 years.
In 1975, he immigrated to the United States and completed his residency in anesthesiology. His training includes an Internship at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey and a Residency Program in Anesthesiology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He was the Director of Anesthesiology at Byrd Regional Hospital in Louisiana from 1984 to 1998. In 1999, Dr. Loi Vu moved to Houston to pursue his interest in providing an integrated approach to medicine. He has been certified from the UCLA School of Medicine in medical acupuncture for physicians. Dr. Vu is part of the medical staff at Twelve Oaks Hospital and is a member of the Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society.
